Shea believes that nutrition is one of the most powerful tools at our disposal to help us live the healthiest life possible. She believes that when done right, a powerful nutrition program will not only have you enjoying a body that is lean, healthy, and vibrant, but you’ll also enjoy the benefits of a robust immune system, a clear & focused brain and a body that is filled with amazing energy to help you conquer the day. A well balanced, healthy nutrition plan can not only dramatically improve the quality of your life, but it can also improve your self-confidence by helping you look and feel your best.

Shea is passionate about her clients overall well-being, while getting them the results they desire. That is why she is committed to helping you find the trouble spots in your current nutrition regime and providing simple, but powerful solutions. She strongly believes in the power of food and her method is a straight-forward, balanced approach. Shea guides her clients forward to their physique/health goals by helping them adopt healthy nutrition habits that will last a lifetime while educating them along the way. 

 

SO HOW DOES ONE-ON-ONE NUTRITION COACHING WORK?

 

  • Shea starts off with the proper assessment forms to gain the information she needs to learn about your current lifestyle, limiting factors, personal needs and physique goals. 
     

  • Shea formulates a customized plan tailored to you and you gain access to her custom built app.

  • Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly check-ins (depending on the needs of the client) are used to assess client progress and assure continual progression.

  • Personalized App to Track Progress. Shea has her own custom built app allowing clients to have an easy-to-navigate system at their fingertips. This app allows clients to: access their personal goals & programming, track their progress in real time, contact Shea when they need to, as well as connect their Apple Watch/Fit Bit to track their personal stats. This helps Shea not only hold you accountable, but it helps you to stay motivated!
     

  • Personal Coaching, Empowerment & Mindset. Shea works with you to develop a healthy mindset about your body, food, and balanced eating. She is not only there to help educate you, but is also there for you through any obstacle. The constant support & guidance along the way results in helping you grow on all levels and sets you up to make the best decisions for your health.

I started virtual bootcamp with Shea in July 2020 and loved every minute. Even though I was working out everyday I knew my body was in trouble. I started feeling dizzy after eating. My blood pressure was elevated and my heart rate was out of control. I knew I needed coaching and help with my nutrition and started nutritional coaching with Shea in February 2021. The support has been amazing and a real life saver for me. She has taken it slow and has never made me feel overwhelmed. She has always been a message away and is there to give me a boost when I need it. Shea is always positive and does not let me sway from my goals. Even when I think I cannot get to my goal she is always available to give me that push to be proud of what I have accomplished and to believe in myself. My resting heart rate has dropped over twenty beats since starting and my waist is shrinking (in 8 weeks I’m currently down 14 lbs and over 35 inches)! I no longer feel sick after eating and my blood pressure has dropped significantly. Shea has made my program both manageable and challenging. She never gives me a goal out of my reach and is always checking in to help and push me. I have messaged her a number of times and she is always there, ready to help me with whatever I need. It may a reminder with a quote or a picture or whatever I need at the time to stay focused.

 

I have a better attitude and my whole family has benefited. We are all eating better and my children continue to remind me to eat my protein and veggies like Shea says. “Trust the process" is something Shea told me right off the bat. I found this difficult to believe when I first started my 1-1 nutrition coaching with her. I will be the first to admit my history has not been positive with food, prior to working with Shea. I had the Herbal Magic mentality, if you have every heard of the program. I was on that program for 2 to 3 years. Yes, I lost weight but clearly not sustainable or healthy. This caused me to be addicted to using the scale and limited calories to dictate my success. Fast forward 15 years and I knew I needed to take my health in my own hands, and I asked if she could take me on as a 1-1 client. I needed accountability and just guidance and a push. I started with her on Jan 11, 2021.  

 

Through our time together, Shea has taught me it is not about being perfect. It’s about taking one step forward and learning along the way. Shea has provided guidance, encouragement, motivation, and so much more. She has never criticized me or made me feel bad for the times I have fallen off the wagon and have taken two steps backwards. The opposite actually, she looks at the positive and focuses on what you did accomplish. She designed me a custom plan that was made with the right goals to suit my life. Attainable goals with a challenge. With Shea it’s about a balanced approach, not the "all or nothing" that I am used to and that is what I love about working with her. Life happens. But Shea encourages you to go to that next level. To learn from the steps backwards, work with it and make a better choice next time. I love that she is caring and compassionate. She's not a robot like some other trainers I have read about.  I have learned so much from her in such a short time, I could go on... But I will let the results speak for themselves. 

 

As of today, I have lost about 22lbs in 3.5 months. My inch loss is incredible (I have a neck now! My clothes are fitting better! My body shape has changed!) and I am eating a lot healthier than I have in 15 years. I also have seen big improvements with my sleep and resting heart rate.
